The absence of an elevator meant dragging bags up multiple flights, not ideal for anyone with heavy luggage!!! Limited air conditioning options left some rooms feeling stuffy, especially during warm nights!!! The old-fashioned room keys felt cumbersome!!!

I loved the nice breakfast that started each day on a wonderful note. Old wood floors do creak, and I could hear footfalls from above quite clearly. It might be a concern if you're sensitive to noise or have trouble with stairs. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and even provided breakfast boxes for my parents when they left early. The location was excellent, just a short walk from local attractions. However, the limited breakfast options for late risers were disappointing. The lack of an elevator meant more stairs than expected, and the thin walls led to some disturbances. These elements added some drawbacks, but considering the charm of the historic building, I’d definitely consider returning.

The Superior Double or Twin Room was super spacious and had such a comfy bed! I really liked the high ceilings and the unique vintage decor. There’s a lovely courtyard garden to chill in too. The breakfast was a highlight with so many tasty options, especially the fresh juices. Just a heads up, it's right by a busy street, so keep the windows closed for some quiet, but that can make the room a bit stuffy. A bit of noise from the stairs too when other guests were moving around.

Had a great time with friends exploring the city! The location is awesome, just a short walk to spots like the Lello bookstore and Torre dos Clerigos. Breakfast was solid. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, and getting around was easy with maps and suggestions for local eats. Totally recommend this place for a fun group getaway!

We did have an issue with noise from the wooden stairs leading to our 4th-floor room. it got a bit noisy when other guests were moving around. Just a heads up for light sleepers.
